We are seeking a Driven and Results‑Oriented Retention Strategist to join our team.

The Retention Strategist at Common Thread Collective (CTC) plays a critical leadership role in guiding our clients toward sustainable and scalable growth. This position is all about owning revenue delivery predictably for the business through retention marketing efforts—using data‑backed insights to build forecasts, shape strategic direction, and ensure consistent performance delivery. Your expertise is invaluable, covering CTC's strategic forecasting methods and the foundational principles of retention marketing. You will partner closely with clients, proactively communicate the rationale behind our approach, and connect the dots between forecasts and the emails, SMS, direct mail, and other channels sent out. You’ll champion CTC’s unique approach to retention and its tools, lead with precision, and drive the highest standards of execution and effectiveness.

Minimum Experience Requirement
  • least 2 years of hands‑on experience in email and SMS marketing, with proven execution across campaigns, automations, segmentation, and optimization.

  • Implement CTC’s Email and SMS best practices and leverage tools such as memberships, subscriptions, loyalty programs, popups, quizzes, cart drawers, post‑purchase upsell tools, direct mail and.
  • Manage ideologies and processes throughout the account, monitor active campaigns, and deploy additional resources as needed.
  • Implement tests to beat best‑performing campaigns.
Ensuring and Holding the Standard of Quality of Work
  • Ensure deliverables are on‑brand 100% of the time, collaborating with designers and copywriters.
  • Confirm automations, campaigns, and other retention tools have correct technical setups and work together to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Ensure alignment with the client versus the forecast and strategy.
  • Follow the Prophet system execution to 100% within required timelines.
  • Deliver all work on time with optimal quality and attention to detail.
Client Communication
  • Champion client communication, ensuring alignment on retention and revenue goals and providing clarity with exact deadlines.
  • Send daily performance updates to the client.
  • Align strategy and forecast with the client weekly.
  • Provide weekly updates via Slack and collaborate with Growth Strategists and Media Buyers.
  • Report where required.

Salary Range
