Job description
Key Responsibilities
- Lead discussions with stakeholders to gather, understand, and validate business requirements.
- Communicate technical and functional solutions clearly to stakeholders.
- Obtain approval/sign-off on documented workflows and specifications.
- Identify, analyze, and propose solutions for business problems.
- Document business processes and functional/technical specifications.
- Recommend cost-effective technology solutions aligned with business needs.
- Translate requirements into actionable Jira tickets for the development team.
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and manage issue tracking.
- Provide 3rd-level technical support and perform root cause analysis for live projects.
- Ensure technology solutions meet organizational quality standards.
- Monitor project risks and provide proactive solutions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and approval processes.
- Maintain accurate documentation using proper formatting, UK English grammar, and punctuation.
- Track time in Jira/Tempo with correct project code allocation.
- Contribute to a culture of accountability, quality, and stakeholder satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline.
- Completed or pursuing a Business System Analysis course.
- 1-2 years' experience in a Business Analyst role (preferably in technology projects).
