We're seeking a Yard and Logistics Manager to oversee our yard operations, ensuring that every truck and team member operates in perfect sync. You'll be the driving force behind an efficient, safe, and well-organized yard that keeps production and delivery goals on track.
- Lead Yard Operations: Oversee the daily flow of goods from sorting and staging to dispatch, ensuring timely, accurate, and damage-free deliveries.
- Stock Control Mastery: Maintain precise stock counts, manage rotation (FIFO), and coordinate with quality teams for accurate grading and reporting.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and motivate yard staff, manage attendance and performance, and foster a culture of accountability and teamwork.
- Equipment Oversight: Ensure forklifts and other equipment are safely operated, maintained, and efficiently utilized.
- Safety & Cleanliness: Drive a zero-incident culture by enforcing safety procedures, maintaining spotless yard conditions, and promoting compliance at all times.
- Collaborative Communication: Work closely with production, sales, and logistics teams to keep operations aligned and running smoothly.
