We are looking for someone who can make sure products meet the right quality standards and help solve issues on the production floor. You'll work with different teams to manage defects, improve processes and support inspectors with daily checks

Minimum Requirements
  • Grade 12 with Maths and Science
  • Certificate in Quality Assurance
  • Quality/Engineering diploma
  • Six Sigma Green Belt
  • 3-5 years in an automotive or similar manufacturing environment
  • Experience supervising at least people
  • Knowledge of IATF 16949, automotive core tools, OEM requirements
  • Comfortable using statistical tools
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office)
Key Responsibilities
  • Check that products meet internal and industry quality requirements
  • Validate improvements, process changes and new product launches
  • Perform Layered Process Audits
  • Help find root causes of defects and drive corrective actions
  • Support daily production meetings and help resolve out-of-control issues
  • Monitor product characteristics using statistical tools
  • Supervise and guide product and process inspectors
  • Review inspection records and ensure proper record keeping
  • Assist with customer complaints and defect reduction plansAttend scrap meetings and provide weekly quality updates
  • Help maintain Control Plans and take part in FMEA teams
  • Ensure safety rules are followed and promote a positive safety culture
