Job summary
A leading recruitment agency is seeking motivated individuals for a customer support role in a fast-growing fintech company in Cape Town. This position supports digital payment systems and merchants, perfect for school leavers or graduates eager to learn. Key responsibilities include assisting with payment inquiries, resolving transaction issues, and guiding users through payment processes. Strong communication skills and basic computer literacy are essential, while prior experience is not a requirement.
Qualifications
- Matric (Grade 12) is essential.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer and merchant support for digital payments.
- Assist users with payment queries.
- Investigate transactions and resolve issues.
- Support merchants with dashboards and payments.
- Identify and elevate transaction trends.

Our client, a company operating in the digital payments and fintech space, is looking for motivated and dynamic individuals to join their Customer Support team. This role is well suited to school leavers, graduates, or candidates with limited work experience who are keen to learn and build a career in fintech.
- Provide customer and merchant support related to digital payments
- Assist users with payment queries and guide them through payment processes
- Search, track, and investigate transactions to resolve issues
- Support merchants in navigating dashboards and understanding payment flows
- Identify transaction trends and elevate potential issues where required
- Assist with enabling, disabling, or adjusting payment channels
- Work with eCommerce merchants to resolve basic plugin or payment method issues
- Maintain accuracy and quality in customer responses
- Matric (Grade 12) – essential
- Strong communication skills
- Basic computer literacy
- Interest in fintech, digital payments, or technology
- Willingness to learn and work in a fast‑paced environment
- Experience is not essential — attitude and potential are key
- Any exposure to areas such as marketing, sales, business, or digital tools will be advantageous
This role operates on a rotating shift schedule:
- Morning Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM or 4:00 PM
- Afternoon / Night Shift: 3:00 PM or 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
- Weekend Shifts: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (on rotation, not every weekend)
