Our client, a leading hygiene and sanitation solutions provider, is seeking a New Business Development & Technical Consultant to join their Brushware business in Gauteng.
The primary responsibility of this role is to drive new business development by calling on large corporate clients and contributing to marketing efforts.
The ideal candidate will have exposure to manufacturing, agricultural, and food processing sectors, as well as an understanding of food safety regulations.
Duties :
Identify new markets and customer needs to ensure value-added service.
Promote the company's products.
Achieve daily and weekly call ratios to meet targets.
Develop and implement business development strategies.
Manage purchase analysis, customer segmentation, and product / service analysis.
Maintain high standards of service.
Build market position by establishing and closing new business relationships.
Assist in implementing plans and strategies.
Create and present sales strategies.
Follow up with active and prospective clients through regular meetings.
Develop a personal customer database.
Negotiate sales and close deals.
Initiate invoicing and payment processes.
Handover new contracts to operations.
Submit weekly and monthly reports to the Line Manager.
Requirements
Previous experience in sales.
Hunter personality with proactive approach.
General business exposure.
Ability to analyze sales data and statistics.
Experience in hygiene and cleaning chemicals is preferable; candidates with experience selling pumps / pressure hoses will also be considered.
Excellent client relationship-building skills.
Marketing qualification is advantageous.
CTC : R35 - R45k + commission + provident fund.
