Collaboration across departments, including accounting teams and the Paris head office, is essential. The role requires risk sensitivity to high-risk economic cycles in South Africa and the ability to analyze financial information rapidly in stressed scenarios.

As a Stewardship & Reporting Analyst - Credit Risk, responsibilities include:

• Create and maintain reports and dashboards to track KPIs and identify trends. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand reporting needs. Develop data quality checks for accuracy and consistency.
• Identify process improvement and automation opportunities. Communicate insights through presentations and reports.
• Stay updated on industry trends. Analyze Provisions, Nett overdue, and WCR reports for TMSA and NE. Complete monthly Mancom KPIs.
• Compile Paris DMA report for management review.
• Prepare trade insurance declarations (CGIC and Lombard) monthly.
• Manage priority controls (TomCard), credit GL reconciliations, and submissions to SSC. Prepare Credit Committee reports and presentations for Divcom review.
• Prepare and submit quarterly Board reports to General Accounting. Assist with credit risk analysis as needed.
• Compile Key Priority Controls (KPCs) reports and ensure accuracy for Internal Control.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to handle large datasets and analyze complex data.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI (preferred).
• Knowledge of statistical analysis, modeling, database design, and data warehousing.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills, with a focus on stewardship and accountability.
