We’re looking for a Data Scientist to join our dynamic team at KFC Rohloff Group. In this role, you’ll help drive our franchise group’s growth and success through predictive modelling within the BI Department, enabling the business to make smarter, data-driven decisions. You’ll focus on building machine learning models, performing in-depth statistical analysis, and delivering AI-powered insights that enhance operational efficiency and elevate the customer experience.

What You'll Be Cooking Up:

Advanced Analytics & Modeling

• Design and implement machine learning models for forecasting, segmentation, and optimization.
• Conduct predictive and prescriptive analytics to support strategic business decisions.

Data Exploration & Visualization

• Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends and actionable insights.
• Develop visualizations, dashboards, and analytical models using BI tools such as Power BI and Python libraries.

Collaboration & Integration

• Work closely with BI Developers, Data Engineers, and Business Analysts to integrate models into BI platforms.
• Partner with business units to translate requirements into scalable analytical solutions.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

• Research and apply emerging technologies in AI and data science.
• Drive automation and advanced techniques to enhance data-driven decision-making.

What You Bring to the Table:

• Detail-oriented with a commitment to data quality and integrity
• Proficiency in Python or R for advanced data manipulation, modelling, and automation.
• Strong understanding of ETL pipelines, data warehousing, and integration processes.
• Familiarity with APIs and common data formats such as JSON, XML, and OData.
• Experience with Power BI, SSRS, and advanced Excel for reporting and dashboard development.
• Ability to build interactive data models and apply DAX for analytics.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in data science, Computer Science, Statistics, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Innovative thinker with a passion for leveraging data to drive business growth.
