Job summary
A safety management consulting firm in Gauteng seeks a Junior OHS Advisor to review and verify contractor safety files for compliance with safety protocols and regulations. Responsibilities include assessing documentation, maintaining tracking systems, supporting internal audits, and preparing reports. The ideal candidate will have a grade 12 qualification, a safety certification, and strong communication skills. This role focuses on ensuring a safe working environment by promoting compliance with legal requirements and company standards.
Qualifications
- Experience in safety file vetting is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Must have a working knowledge of the OHS Act and related regulations.
Responsibilities
- Review contractor safety files for compliance with legal and company standards.
- Conduct internal audits for compliance assurance.
- Prepare safety file vetting reports for the OHS Manager.
