- Identify and grow new business opportunities across equine and companion animal segments.
- Maximize sales potential with existing clients and retail partners by driving cross-selling and up-selling opportunities, ensuring full product portfolio penetration and sustainable revenue growth.
- Build and expand relationships with trainers, breeders, veterinarians, retailers, key influencers, and other industry role players.
- Deliver product presentations, training sessions, and technical support to clients and retail partners.
- Represent Apex Animal Health at trade shows and industry events.
- Monitor sales performance against regional targets and provide monthly reports with insights and recommendations.
- Analyze customer trends and competitor activities to help shape sales strategy.
- Serve as the go-to product specialist within your region.
- BSc Agric (Animal Science) or related degree.
- Minimum 3 years of proven sales experience in the animal health and nutrition sector.
- Strong understanding of the animal health and nutrition industry.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English.
- Highly motivated, customer-focused, and able to work independently.
- Own reliable transport.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
