Overview

We are seeking a skilled and hands-on CNC Programmer and Operator to join a well-established stone manufacturing company in Kempton Park.

The role involves programming, setting up and operating a 5-axis CNC machine to cut and shape high-quality granite and marble for commercial and residential projects.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up and operate a 5-axis CNC machine for stone cutting
• Read and interpret CAD drawings and specifications
• Prepare, load and position materials safely on the CNC machine
• Ensure quality and precision of finished products
• Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting of CNC machinery
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production deadlines
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience as a CNC Operator / Programmer preferably in the stone or glass industry
• Exposure to Bavelloni or similar CNC machinery
• CNC or CAD certificate from a technical or private college (Matric not required)
• Strong understanding of CAD / CAM programming
