A leading financial institution in South Africa is offering a one-year internship program for newly qualified university graduates. The program provides practical work experience across various business areas, with rotations after 6 months. Candidates must have strong leadership and analytical skills, and a commitment to personal growth. Citigroup Inc. (Citi) is a financial service holding company that is diversified and provides a wide range of financial services to corporations and consumers. Location: Johannesburg, Gauteng
Duration: 1 year
Start date: mid‑July
Graduates will be permitted to apply for permanent placements within the year and will be funded to study toward a postgraduate qualification during their year of work, related to their field of work.
Graduates will be interviewed by Citi's senior traders and thereafter be placed in the Institutional Trading business area.
At 6 months, graduates will be allowed to rotate to any of the other businesses, including Finance, Banking, Human Resources, Markets, Risk, Operations and Technology, Treasury and Trade Solutions.
