Job summary
A consulting engineering firm in Johannesburg is seeking an experienced Electronics Engineer to design and develop electronic building systems for construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in electronics engineering, hold a professional engineer registration, and possess project management experience. Responsibilities include system specifications, collaboration with architects, and conducting feasibility studies.
Qualifications
- Five of the ten years post-professional registration (Pr Eng) should be in planning and implementing electronics systems.
- Knowledge of construction processes and standards is essential.
Responsibilities
- Develop electronic system specifications and designs based on customer requirements.
- Collaborate with architects and engineers to ensure integration of systems in construction projects.
- Conduct feasibility studies to determine the viability of designs.
