Qualified Mechanic required for a company based in East London
Seeking a skilled and qualified Mechanic to maintain, service, and repair go-karts and related equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and hands-on experience in welding.
- Diagnose, service, and repair go-karts and engines.
- Perform routine maintenance and safety checks.
- Conduct MIG or TIG welding repairs on kart frames and components.
- Ensure all karts meet safety and performance standards.
- Maintain workshop tools, equipment, and spare parts inventory.
- Provide quick turnaround on repairs to minimize downtime.
- Qualified Mechanic (Trade Test/Relevant Certification) ESSENTIAL
- MIG or TIG welding experience ESSENTIAL
- Previous mechanical experience in motorsport, automotive, or small engines advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
