A leading recruitment agency is seeking an experienced Draughtsman in Cape Town. The role involves creating detailed CAD designs, ensuring compliance with engineering standards, and working knowledge of ISO regulations. Candidates should hold a relevant diploma and possess skills in AutoCAD and SolidWorks. Salary ranges from R25,000 to R35,000 per month based on experience.
Qualifications
- 3 years experience as a Draughtsman in an Engineering or construction environment.
- Must have working knowledge of Plant3D, Revit, and Advanced Steel.
Responsabilités
- Produce detailed 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software.
- Assist in design modifications for safety and sustainability.
- Ensure compliance with ISO9001 and ISO45001 standards.
- Maintain all design documents as per ISO9001 requirements.

The Draughtsman is responsible for creating detailed technical drawings designs and schematics using CAD software ensuring that all designs meet engineering standards client specifications and regulatory requirements - The role ensures compliance with ISO14001 ISO9001 and ISO45001 standards by contrib to quality environmental and safety management systems
Must be able to speak read and write English and Afrikaans fluently

- Drafting and design - Produce detailed 2D and 3D drawings and designs using AutoCAD SolidWorks or other CAD software based on the engineering specifications. Assist in design modifications to improve the performance safety and environmental sustainability of products
- Site scanning and measurements
- GPS Surveying
- Labeling and confirmation of site equipment
- Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams
- Documentation and control - Maintain all design documents and drawings as per ISO9001 requirements for document control and revision management. Ensure that designs meet compliance with ISO45001 safety standards addressing any occupational health and safety risks
- Risk analysis and mitigation

Diploma in Mechanical Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent qualification in draughting
Certification in AutoCAD SolidWorks or relevant CAD software
Knowledge of ISO14001 ISO9001 and ISO45001 standards
3 years experience as a Draughtsman in an Engineering or construction environment
MUST HAVE WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF PLANT3d REVIT AND ADVANCED STEEL
R25 000 to R35 000pm depending on experience
