Malander is seeking an immediately available Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) for a Finance Director role based in Benoni.

This is a high-impact position requiring a hands-on leader with a strong governance mindset, exceptional technical ability, and a proven track record in driving financial clean-ups, consolidation processes, and strategic finance initiatives. The ideal candidate is a seasoned finance professional who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves, take ownership of complex challenges, and steer the organisation toward improved financial stability and operational excellence.

You will work closely with the Executive Team and be strategically involved in shaping the financial direction of the business.

• Lead the finance function with a strong focus on governance, compliance, and internal controls.
• Manage group consolidations and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Drive financial clean-ups, process improvements, and system optimisation.
• Provide strategic insights and support to the CEO and leadership team.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and risk mitigation.
• Manage stakeholder relationships, including auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies.
• Lead and mentor the finance team while fostering a high-performance culture.

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)).
• Immediately available, this is non-negotiable.
• Proven experience in a Finance Director, CFO, or senior finance leadership role.
• Strong consolidation experience.
• Demonstrated ability to drive clean-ups, stabilisation projects, and financial turnarounds.
• Hands-on, solutions-driven mindset with the ability to work strategically and operationally.
