Our client, a dynamic and fast-paced organization operating in the high-volume Security sector and based in Pietermaritzburg, is seeking a highly skilled CCTV Technician to join their team.

Technical Support:

- Providing technical support to clients, both remotely and on-site, to resolve system issues and train users on system operation.

Site Surveys:

- Conducting site surveys to assess security needs and recommend appropriate CCTV system solutions.

Compliance:

- Ensuring that installations comply with safety standards and relevant regulations.

Documentation:

- Maintaining accurate records of installations, maintenance, and repairs.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of CCTV hardware, software, networking, and cabling.
• Troubleshooting Skills
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues with CCTV systems.
• Problem-solving Skills: Ability to identify and address security risks and vulnerabilities in CCTV systems.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients and team members.
• Keen eye for detail when it comes to wiring, cabling, and system configuration.
• Knowledge of Security Systems: Understanding of security principles and best practices.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to work in various environments, including climbing ladders and working in confined spaces.
• Customer Service Skills: Ability to provide excellent customer service and technical support.
