Job description

We are looking for a highly motivated and technically skilled Warranty Technician to join our clients team in Johannesburg. This role is critical in driving and supporting business growth by ensuring effective technical service support managing the full warranty process and coordinating technical details across branches dealers and customers. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical knowledge within the earthmoving industry and a passion for delivering service excellence while ensuring OEM standards and systems are maintained.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee the full warranty process ensuring accurate claim submissions and OEM payment reconciliation.
  • Coordinate and facilitate monthly technical meetings with dealers driving consistency in service standards across all branches.
  • Engage continuously with OEMs to maintain alignment and manage system access on the OEM portal.
  • Plan and execute the annual technical training schedule for branches and dealers ensuring skills and technology development.
  • Monitor and manage OEM Dealer KPIs proactively addressing machine alerts SOS reports and pre-service planning.
  • Support the Service Manager with daily operational requirements and customer service maintenance agreements.
Requirements

  • Strong Technical Product knowledge and understanding of maintenance in the Earth Moving Industry
