Job description

Broubart Security is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Alarm Technician to support our rapidly expanding AI-driven security infrastructure. This role requires strong technical competence, an ability to lead and mentor technicians, and a proactive mindset in maintaining, installing and improving our intelligent alarm and camera systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Install, configure and maintain alarm & AI-enabled CCTV systems
• Troubleshoot technical faults, diagnose issues, and perform corrective repairs
• Perform scheduled maintenance, service-level inspections and site clean-ups
• Conduct client consultations, training, and support
• Maintain accurate installation & service documentation
• Ensure compliance with SAIDSA and relevant safety regulations
• Lead, mentor, and train junior technicians and wiremen
• Assist with fleet, tool and equipment oversight and operational readiness
• Maintain professional communication across internal WhatsApp groups and client channels
• Exhibit strong situational awareness and ownership of duties

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent
• SAIDSA accreditation (required)
• Certification in electronic or alarm security systems
• Strong technical wiring & installation ability
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and with tools/equipment
• Problem-solving mindset with high attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent team collaboration

WORK EXPECTATIONS

• Monday - Friday, 07:00 – 17:00
• Every second Saturday, 07:00 – 12:00
• Availability for after-hours support when required
