our client based in Cape Town, CBD is seeking a dynamic Senior Sales Manager to join their team and drive revenue growth across MICE, leisure and corporate segments.
As Senior Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing clients in the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences & Events), leisure and corporate markets. You will identify opportunities, close deals, and ensure our hotel is the preferred choice for business events, leisure groups and corporate stays.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively source, develop and maintain relationships with key accounts in all three segments.
  • Achieve sales targets through effective account management, networking and prospecting.
  • Create and implement sales strategies to maximise revenue and market share.
  • Conduct site inspections, sales calls, client entertainment and attend trade shows.
  • Collaborate with the operations and events teams to ensure seamless client experiences.
  • Prepare reports, forecasts and market analysis as required.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in hotel sales, with proven success in MICE, leisure and corporate segments.
  • Strong network of contacts in the local and international market.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Goal-driven, self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexible with working hours and travel as required.
