Marketing and Social Media Coordinator

Job Summary
The ideal candidate will be passionate about marketing, social media and digital communications. You will be responsible for executing our social media strategy and supporting the marketing department's initiatives across our sub-brands (e.g. CentralBlue, Oak Village). This role is crucial for building our brand’s marketing presence and engaging with our community to tell the story of our patented sustainable building technology.
Responsibilities
- Social Media Execution: Execute the day-to-day social media strategy by creating, scheduling, and publishing engaging content across platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.
- Community Management: Monitor all social media and digital channels, respond to comments and messages in a timely manner, and foster a positive and interactive community.
- Content Creation: Assist in creating compelling visual and written content, including project updates, behind-the-scenes footage, and posts that highlight our sustainable technology.
- Marketing Support: Support the marketing team in developing and distributing marketing materials such as brochures, presentations, and newsletters.
- Event Coordination: Assist in the planning and coordination of marketing events, both physical (trade shows, launches) and digital (webinars).
- Performance Tracking: Track and compile reports on social media engagement, website traffic, and campaign performance using analytics tools.
- Market Research: Conduct basic research on industry trends, competitor activities, and relevant news to help inform content strategy.
- Administrative Support: Manage project timelines (using project management tools like Jira and Float), organize digital assets, and provide general administrative support to the marketing department.
Qualifications and Experience
- A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of professional experience in social media management or a marketing coordinator role.
- A strong, practical understanding of major social media platforms and their respective audiences.
- Excellent copywriting, editing, and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail.
- Experience with social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Metricool, Google Analytics).
- Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Canva) is a plus.
- Highly organized, with an ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- A genuine interest in construction, property development, and sustainability.
