Job summary
A logistics service provider in Singapore is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee daily operations involving cargo management, including oil & gas equipment and breakbulk. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in a supervisory role, strong leadership skills, and a diploma or degree in a relevant field. Compliance with safety standards and familiarity with WMS/ERP systems are essential. This role includes managing staff, planning warehouse layouts, and liaising with various stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of warehouse or logistics experience.
- Experience handling oil & gas, project cargo, or breakbulk preferred.
- Strong leadership and safety mindset.
Responsibilities

Our client, a logistics service provider isseeking to fill the following role :-
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for managing daily warehouse and yard operations handling general cargo, oil & gas equipment, and breakbulk/project cargo, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operations in line with company and regulatory standards.
- Oversee receiving, storage, handling, and dispatch of cargo, including oversized and breakbulk items.
- Plan warehouse and yard layout for heavy‑lift and non‑containerized cargo.
- Coordinate loading/unloading using forklifts, cranes, and other MHE.
- Ensure strict compliance with HSE, ISO, and client SOPs, especially for oil & gas cargo.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and warehouse documentation (GRN, DO, tally, damage reports).
- Supervise warehouse staff and subcontractors; manage manpower and shift planning.
- Liaise with operations, transporters, surveyors, and clients to support project and time‑critical shipments.
- Monitor KPIs, productivity, cargo condition, and operational costs.
- Minimum 5 years of warehouse or logistics experience, with supervisory exposure.
- Experience handling oil & gas, project cargo, or breakbulk preferred.
- Basic knowledge of heavy‑lift operations and safe cargo handling.
- Familiar with WMS / ERP systems and MS Excel.
- Marine agency or port logistics exposure will be an advantage.
- Strong leadership, communication, and safety mindset.
- Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
- Forklift license, lifting or HSE‑related certifications are advantageous.
