Job summary

Warehouse Manager – Cargo, Oil & Gas & Breakbulk

Our client, a logistics service provider isseeking to fill the following role :-

Job Description

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for managing daily warehouse and yard operations handling general cargo, oil & gas equipment, and breakbulk/project cargo, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operations in line with company and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee receiving, storage, handling, and dispatch of cargo, including oversized and breakbulk items.
  • Plan warehouse and yard layout for heavy‑lift and non‑containerized cargo.
  • Coordinate loading/unloading using forklifts, cranes, and other MHE.
  • Ensure strict compliance with HSE, ISO, and client SOPs, especially for oil & gas cargo.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and warehouse documentation (GRN, DO, tally, damage reports).
  • Supervise warehouse staff and subcontractors; manage manpower and shift planning.
  • Liaise with operations, transporters, surveyors, and clients to support project and time‑critical shipments.
  • Monitor KPIs, productivity, cargo condition, and operational costs.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of warehouse or logistics experience, with supervisory exposure.
  • Experience handling oil & gas, project cargo, or breakbulk preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of heavy‑lift operations and safe cargo handling.
  • Familiar with WMS / ERP systems and MS Excel.
  • Marine agency or port logistics exposure will be an advantage.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and safety mindset.
Qualifications
  • Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
  • Forklift license, lifting or HSE‑related certifications are advantageous.
