Job summary
A leading architectural firm in Singapore seeks an experienced architect to lead design and project execution. The successful candidate will oversee on-site work, ensuring compliance with plans and building codes. Applicants should have a degree in architecture, at least 6 years of experience, and strong leadership skills. Knowledge of local regulations is essential. Qualifications
- Minimum 6 years of relevant architectural experience.
- Being registered with the Singapore Board of Architects is an advantage.
- Competency in authority requirements and submission procedures.
Responsibilities
- Help to lead architecture design and execution throughout the project cycle.
- Oversee on-site work to ensure compliance with design plans.
- Work with clients and stakeholders to meet necessary building codes.
Skills
Education
- Help to lead architecture design and execution throughout the project cycle.
- Oversee progress of on-site work ensure project is built according to design plans and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Work with clients, consultants and stakeholders to ensure that the building plan meet the necessary building codes and regulations.
- Ensure key deadlines are met and staff are working together effectively.
- May manage various groups of architects, technicians and/or specialists.
- Bachelor’s/ Master’s Degree in Architecture or related fields
- Minimum 6 years of relevant architectural experience
- Being registered with Singapore Board of Architects would be an advantage
- Good knowledge of architectural details, working drawings and construction practices
- Conversant with local code and regulations
- Competency in authority requirements and submission procedures
- Ability to lead a team
- Experience in high density housing and/or public housing
- Good leadership and communication skill
