Job description
  • Coordinate daily routes for delivery teams to ensure efficiency.
  • Act as the main point of contact to confirm delivery windows and resolve scheduling hurdles.
  • Proactively manage logistical issues (traffic, delays) to keep the customer journey on track.
  • Keep customers updated on their delivery status with empathy and professionalism.
  • Notify customers promptly of any changes with professionalism and empathy.
  • Manage post‑delivery feedback and coordinate any necessary rectification trips for damaged items.
  • Update our ERP system in real‑time to track delivery success and inventory movements.
  • Liaise closely with the Warehouse to ensure furniture is picked, wrapped, and staged for loading according to the next day's schedule.
  • Coordinate with the Sales Admin and Purchasing teams to track the arrival of indent/pre‑order items needed for specific delivery dates.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1-2 years in a logistics, delivery coordination, or administrative role, preferably within the Retail, Furniture sector.
  • Proficiency in logistics software, route optimization tools, or ERP systems. Strong skills in Microsoft Excel are essential.
  • Exceptional phone etiquette and the ability to remain calm and professional when handling difficult customer situations or logistical crises.
  • High attention to detail (to avoid wrong‑item deliveries) and a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
