An IT support organization in Singapore is seeking a qualified individual to provide technical support for events and assist users with various IT applications. The ideal candidate should have a Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, with at least 3 years of relevant experience. Exceptional problem-solving skills, strong understanding of IT systems, and excellent communication abilities are essential. Flexibility to work after hours and on weekends is preferred, along with a readiness to start immediately.
Set up and provide technical support for events, including AV systems, live streaming, projectors, sound systems, and computer hardware, as well as troubleshooting issues that may arise.
Providing support for various business applications, including troubleshooting, problem resolution, and providing guidance to users.
Assisting users with technical issues, installing and maintaining hardware and software, and providing training on application usage.
Oversee the tracking, allocation, and lifecycle management of all IT assets, including audio-visual (AV) equipment, computing devices, and peripheral hardware. Ensure accurate documentation, timely updates, and compliance with asset management policies.
Coordinating event setup, managing registration, and ensuring a smooth event experience.
Quickly resolving issues that may arise during events or application usage.
Communicating with users, IT teams, and external vendors to resolve issues and ensure smooth operation.
Maintaining accurate records of support requests, resolutions, and event details.
Identifying areas for improvement in IT support processes and event organization.
Strong understanding of IT hardware and software, networking, and operating systems.
Ability to quickly identify and resolve technical issues.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
Experience in event planning, logistics, and on-site support.
Ability to provide excellent customer service and build positive relationships with users.
Willingness to work after-hours, on weekends and public holidays to support events.
