Job summary
A technology solutions provider in Singapore is looking for a Field Service Engineer to deliver 24/7 technical support and service training to customers in the Asia Pacific region. The ideal candidate will have an electrical or mechanical engineering background and experience in field service or technical support. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, installations, and maintaining strong relationships with clients. Willingness to travel is necessary, alongside a problem-solving attitude and excellent customer service skills.
Qualifications
- Relevant field service or technical support experience is essential.
- Willingness to travel across Asia Pacific and Southeast Asia is required.
- Hands-on, task-oriented mindset is crucial.
Responsibilities
- Provide 24/7 standby and emergency technical support to customers.
- Handle installation, commissioning, and maintenance of equipment.
- Investigate product issues and recommend solutions.

- Handle installation, commissioning, maintenance, and on-site training.
- Support distributors/end-users with troubleshooting and site recovery.
- Investigate product issues, identify root causes, and recommend solutions.
- Review warranty claims and assess repair scope.
- Maintain strong relationships with key customers until issues are resolved.
- Prepare clear and systematic service reports.
- Develop and deliver service training to distributors and dealers.
- Keep all technical documents and training materials updated.
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
- Years of relevant field service or technical support experience.
- Willing to travel across Asia Pacific and Southeast Asia.
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
- Familiarity with power generation, electrical systems, and engine control units (e.g., John Deere ECU, KDI ECU) is a plus.
- Team player with a hands‑on, task‑oriented mindset.
