Job summary
A technology consulting firm in Singapore is seeking an Analyst (Systems) to configure and manage Tomcat and WebLogic servers. The role includes monitoring deployments, applying security updates, and utilizing DevOps tools. Candidates should have strong experience in system administration and familiarity with Docker, Terraform, and Linux. Interested applicants should send their resumes to the provided email.
Qualifications
- Experience in System Administration; familiar with WebLogic Server and Tomcat.
- Proficient in DevOps tools such as GitLab, Docker, Terraform.
- Experience in Linux operating systems is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Configure Tomcat and WebLogic for Java application deployment.
- Monitor and troubleshoot deployment issues.
- Apply security patches and ensure compliance with security standards.
Skills
- Configuration of Tomcat and WebLogic web servers to serve and deploy Java applications on Dev, QA and Production environments
- Install and configure Tomcat instances, virtual hosts, context paths and connectors (HTTP/HTTPS)
- Configuration of data sources, domain and managed servers. Configure SSL/TLS
- Monitoring and troubleshooting of deployment issues
- Integration support such as APIs, databases or SFTP services
- Regularly apply security patches and updates (Windows and software patches) and ensure compliance with security standards
- Configure logging and integrate with monitoring tools such as Tenable and Splunk
- Experience in System Administration. Have used WebLogic Server and Tomcat
- Have used DevOps tools such as GitLab, Docker, Terraform etc.
- Experience in DevOps tools such as GitLab (CI/CD), Docker, Terraform, and Linux operating system
