Job summary
A global investment firm is seeking a VP, Voice & Unified Communications Engineer to oversee the design and management of their global voice and video infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have over 12 years of IT experience with a strong focus on Unified Communications. Responsibilities include managing collaboration platforms like Microsoft Teams and Zoom, ensuring compliance and robust security. The role is based in Singapore and offers a flexible work arrangement.
Qualifications
- At least 12 years total IT experience, with 5+ years hands-on experience in Unified Communications technologies.
- Deep technical knowledge of Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Session Border Controllers and PSTN SIP Trunking.
- Strong knowledge of SIP, RTP/SRTP, media codecs, SBC call flows, and enterprise voice routing logic.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and governance in cloud collaboration platforms and telephony systems.
- Manage the build, configuration and lifecycle of endpoint devices including video conferencing systems.
- Oversee day-to-day engineering of the enterprise telephony environment ensuring stability and call quality.
- Develop and enforce engineering standards for the delivery of Unified Communications systems.
