Job summary

A safety service provider based in Singapore is looking for a Workplace Safety Officer with at least 3 years of experience in workplace safety, health, and security. The role involves conducting site safety inspections, generating safety reports, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Preferred candidates will have experience in the Petrochemical, Oil, or Gas industry. Strong communication skills and safety consciousness are essential for this position.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of related work experience in workplace safety, health, and security.
• Relevant work experience in the Petrochemical/Oil/Gas industry is preferred.
• Familiar with safety requirements at the site.

Responsibilities

• Carry out and conduct site safety inspection

• Ensure and educate safety requirements and compliance with Plant Owner/Stakeholder.
• Liaise closely with Plant Owner/Client/Stakeholder on all safety aspects.
• Carry out safety investigation and recommend measures
• Carry out safe work practice and adhere to safety measures including Safe mangement system
• Conduct check on permit to work etc.

Requirements

• Min. 3 or more years of related work experience in workplace safety, health, and security.
• Recognise certificate in Safety and Health awarded by MOM/WSQ.
• Must have relevant work experience in Petrolchemical/Oil/Gas industry is preferred.
• Safety conscious and conscientious
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work in Jurong Island
• Familiar with safety requirements at site.
