Job Summary
The Supply Chain Technology IT Solution Architect will lead the design and implementation ofenterprise IT, automation, and digital solutions that power ST Logistics’next-generation supply-chain network. This role combines deep full-stackengineering capability with strong knowledge of warehouse automation, IoT, andoperations technologies (OT) to build an integrated digital ecosystem. TheArchitect will enable smart-warehouse, last-mile, and data-driventransformation, integrating systems such as WMS, SAP, IoT lockers, RFIDscanners, AGVs, and robotics platforms into a secure, cloud-ready architecture.
Responsibilities
Automation & Smart Warehouse Integration
- Architect integration frameworks connecting IoT sensors, RFID scanners, vision AIcameras, and AGVs/AMRs with enterprise systems.
- Support automation projects involving IoT lockers, e-cabinets, pick-to-light systems, and robotic arms, ensuring data synchronization and system reliability.
- Design secure network segmentation between IT and OT zones, enabling safe remote monitoring and predictive maintenance.
- Collaborate with automation vendors and system integrators to validate interoperability, performance, and lifecycle support.
Application & Full-Stack Development
- Lead design and development of enterprise supply-chain applications, such as Control Tower Dashboards, Asset-Tracking Apps, and digital workflows
- Design and deliver IT Solutions with modern stacks (React, Angular, Node.js, .NET Core, Python FastAPI).
- Architect API integration between WMS, ERP, Operational Applications as well as automation subsystems (PLC, WES, WCS, IoT controllers).
- Oversee DevOps pipelines (CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud deployments for scalable operations.
- Evaluate low-code platforms (OutSystems, Power Apps) for rapid prototyping of operational tools.
Digital Architecture & Strategy
- Define and maintain the end-to-end digital architecture blueprint across logistics, warehouse, and transport systems—bridging IT, OT, and automation layers.
- Drive the Technology and IT roadmap by aligning technology standards, data strategy, and infrastructure with business objectives.
- Design scalable hybrid-cloud architectures leveraging On-Prem VCF 9 Cloud architecture, Azure App Services, Data Factory, and API Management for system interoperability.
- Establish governance and cybersecurity frameworks for IT/OT convergence such as ISO27001, SOC2, IM8
Data & Analytics Enablement
- Build data pipelines and event-driven architecture to feed Azure Synapse, Power BI, and AI dashboards for operational insights.
- Enable analytics for warehouse throughput, fleet utilisation, and automation uptime to drive continuous improvement.
- Enforce data governance, master-data consistency, and integration between logistics, finance, and customer systems.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Act as technology liaison across IT Department, Strategy Transformation Department, Business Vertical Units, Operations Technology Department, Cybersecurity teams.
- Lead architecture reviews, proof-of-concepts, and vendor evaluations for new automation technologies.
- Mentor developers and engineers in coding standards, integration design, and secure deployment practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 8+ years’ experience in IT architecture and software development;
- Proven track record designing and integrating systems such as WMS, OMS, SAP, CMS and IoT/automation platforms.
- Strong hands-on skills in .NET Core, Node.js, Java Spring, Python, React/Angular, REST/GraphQL APIs.
- Software Engineering Leadership: Leads agile teams in building cloud-native and full-stack applications.
- Familiar with PLC/WES/WCS, industrial communication protocols (Modbus, MQTT, OPC UA), and robotics integration.
- Cloud experience (Azure/AWS), containerisation, API security.
- Knowledge of data analytics and visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau) for supply-chain KPIs.
- Certifications (ITIL, Azure Architect, CISSP) are advantages.
- Willing to travel (within Singapore)
- Willing to work outside working hours, on-site and off-site
