Overview

Senior Manager, Commercial Enablement Openings – Asia Pacific (12 months’ contract) – APA014QM. Work location: Hilton - Area Office - Singapore, 3 Temasek Avenue #14-01/05 Centennial Tower, Singapore 39190.

How you will make an impact

As the Senior Manager, Commercial Enablement Openings – Asia Pacific (APAC), you will support the Commercial Director, New Openings – APAC to develop and deliver a structure and team that will improve commercial performance, sales effectiveness and market share across the APAC estate. This will be achieved by delivering best practices and innovation to our on-property and regional commercial teams.

This role will develop and implement strategic initiatives to improve commercial performance across all segments, including sales-influenced segments such as demand and conversion performance and team development across APAC ramp-up hotels for on-property Sales and Groups, Meetings & Events (GM&E) teams. You will ensure communication plans are actioned by deadlines. Key platforms should be up to date with accurate assets, with analysis delivered to support strategy decisions, and performance management KPIs and communication tools built and socialized to engage stakeholders and meet deadlines.

You will engage frequently with hotels and management company representatives to help them build their own commercial action plans, provide strategic advice, and address questions about Hilton’s business processes and products, ensuring their teams leverage Hilton’s commercial engine. The role collaborates with the Openings & Operations support team and Revenue Management Openings support team to ensure the right processes are built and adhered to, enabling smooth hotel transitions from pre-opening to post-opening support functions.

  • 5+ years of experience in hospitality / equivalent creative roles, preferably with on-property hotel experience
  • General commercial awareness and understanding of drivers of commercial performance across sales-driven segments
  • Ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholder groups, including senior leadership, and collaboration with cross-functional teams; able to manage complexity without supervision
  • Effective planning and project management skills
  • Experience in managing multiple projects, meeting deadlines and working under time/resource constraints
  • Strong communication skills in presentations, written and public speaking
  • Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions and develop solutions based on problem statements
