Job summary
A construction safety contractor in Singapore is seeking a safety officer with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. You will be responsible for assessing workplace risks and implementing safety measures. Candidates should be certified by MOM and have experience in LTA projects as an advantage. Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of relevant practical experience.
- Certification by MOM with training course approved by Commissioner for Workplace Safety and Health.
- Experience in LTA project is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Identify and assess foreseeable risks from worksites.
- Implement measures to eliminate foreseeable risks.
- Control risks where elimination is impractical.
Skills
- Preferably to have minimum 3 years of relevant practical experience
- Certified by MOM which completed training course approved by Commissioner for Workplace Safety and Health
- Experience in LTA project will be an advantage
- 1 full-time position available
- Identify and assess any foreseeable risk arising from the worksite or work processes;
- Implement reasonably practical measure to eliminate any foreseeable risk to any person who is at work in that workplace or maybe affected by the Contractor’s undertaking in the workplace;
- Implement reasonably practicable measures to minimize the risk and safe work procedures to control the risk, where it is not reasonably practicable to eliminate the risk referred to second point above
