Job summary

Job description

The client is a global leader in semiconductor capital equipment, providing critical subsystems and components that drive innovation in the semiconductor industry. Below position is open urgently.

Location: Woodlands
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, rotating day & night shifts

Job Summary:

Support manufacturing operations to ensure equipment performance, production output, quality, and on-time delivery while maintaining safety and cleanroom standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble electronic and mechanical components according to specifications, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
  • Perform basic tests, including leak tests, to ensure machine performance and quality standards.
  • Identify defects, perform rework, and replace faulty components such as sensors and motors.
  • Troubleshoot and rectify machine, module, or system malfunctions to support production operations.
  • Report production issues and abnormalities promptly to engineers or supervisors.
  • Assist engineers with troubleshooting, problem-solving, and root cause analysis.
  • Ensure clear and accurate pass-down communication to the next shift.
  • Maintain cleanroom discipline, housekeeping standards, and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency.
  • Train and guide new operators and technicians under the Buddy System.
  • Perform other ad‑hoc duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing, aerospace, or engineering industries.
  • Able to read and comprehend electrical and mechanical drawings.
  • Basic computer literacy for documentation, data entry, and system updates.
  • Hands‑on experience in equipment assembly, testing, or manufacturing processes.
  • Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
  • Able to follow SOPs, safety guidelines, and quality standards consistently.
  • Willingness to work rotating day/night shifts and overtime when required.
  • Ability to carry weights up to 20 kg and work in a cleanroom environment (need to push the machines or carry the material parts to the station).
  • Willing to work in a cleanroom environment, including wearing jumpsuits, safety helmets, and safety shoes.
