Job summary
A manufacturing company in Singapore is seeking a candidate to update and manage systems applications within the Operations division, assist in daily problem-solving, and support the quality management system. Candidates should have a diploma or equivalent, personal computer proficiency, and a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience. This role involves working collaboratively within a team and contributes to improving production efficiency and safety.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in a similar position.
- Meticulous and able to follow instructions with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Update and manage systems applications within Operations division.
- Manage internal interfaces and customer demands.
- Assist HOD in daily problem-solving and safety hazards.
- Facilitate Lean activity within the company.
- Prepare reports and presentation materials as required.
Skills
Education
- Update, manage systems applications and products data processing within Operations division which involved SAP & AMS system. E.g. Process Special Processes delivery orders, purchase orders and certifications.
- Manage operational internal interfaces and external customer demands.
- Assist HOD in solving day-to-day problems and anticipating quality, health and safety and environment hazards at Production site.
- Assist HOD to facilitate Lean activity within the company.
- Prepare weekly/monthly reports and presentation materials when required.
- Assist HOD in developing, implementing, maintaining, and continuously improving in conventional machining processes, special processes and administrative processes to improve divisions’ quality, customer service, lead time, productivity and cost-efficiency.
- Assist HOD in problem diagnosis within the production through problem prevention, reporting, and resolution.
- Responsible for any internal or external safety or quality audits.
- Assist HOD in organizing, developing, implementing, and supporting quality management system (ISO) & Health & Safety system (Bizsafe).
1. Academic Qualification : Diploma Level or equivalent
2. Skills & Knowledge : Personal computer proficiency especially Microsoft applications, Meticulous, Able to work in cooperation with other members of staff, Good communication skills and telephone ethics, Good organizational skills and follow-up, Ability to work within minimum supervisor, Prior SAP knowledge will be preferred
3. Experience in related fields: Min. 1 year experience in similar position
