Job summary

A construction and engineering firm in Singapore is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to manage customer inquiries and prepare technical quotations. Responsibilities include reviewing tender documents, estimating costs, and conducting site visits for contract discussions. The ideal candidate holds a Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying or Electrical Engineering and has at least 2 years of experience in the electrical sector. Proficiency in MS Office and Auto CAD is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the electrical sector.
• Working experience as Electrical QS is preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Auto CAD.

Responsibilities

• Solicits new customers and updates on construction projects.
• Reviews M&E (Electrical) tender documents.
• Prepares bill of quantities and cost estimation.
• Prepares technical data quotations for clients.
• Attends site visits for contract negotiation.
• Collects background and ongoing project information for credit approval.
• Analyzes reports to increase sales revenue.
• Performs other ad-hoc activities as assigned.

Job Responsibilities

• Solicits new customer/products, existing customer’s recommendation and other sources which provide regular updates on construction projects
• Review M&E (Electrical) tender documents and drawing
• Material takes off, prepare bill of quantities and cost estimation
• Prepare technical data quotation and proposal to clients
• Attend to site visits/offices for contract negotiation
• Collects and collates background and ongoing project information of new customers to better facilitate credit approval
• Analyzes reports which helps to increases sales revenue and achieve profitability
• Other ad-hoc activities assigned by superior

Job Qualifications

Education Required

• Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Electrical Engineering

Experience Required

• Min 2 years in Electrical sector
• Working experience as Electrical QS is preferred
• Proficiency in MS Office & Auto CAD
