Role Overview

The Paid Ads Associate supports the planning, execution, optimisation, and reporting of digital campaigns across Meta, Google, and relevant paid channels. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys analytical problem-solving, structured execution, and rapidly learning how marketing performance is built, measured, and improved inside a high-growth agency environment.

The associate will work closely with performance managers, the ARC team, and creative teams to ensure campaigns are aligned to audience intent, funnel objectives, and client KPIs.

This is a 100% backend role that requires no client facing duties.

Key Responsibilities
1. Campaign Setup & Execution (Paid Social & Paid Search)
  • Build and launch campaigns across Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, YouTube, TikTok and other relevant platforms.
  • Execute targeting setups, placements, budgets, and A/B testing structures.
  • Maintain clean campaign organisation following internal naming conventions.
  • Prepare daily performance checks and ensure campaigns meet pacing and budget utilisation targets.
2. Performance Monitoring & Optimisation
  • Conduct daily/weekly optimisation of bids, budgets, audiences, ad sets, keywords, and creative variations.
  • Identify underperforming segments and propose corrective action.
  • Track micro-signals (CTR, CVR, CPC, CPL, landing page trust signals) to improve overall funnel performance.
  • Flag anomalies or performance risks to senior Account Managers immediately.
3. Reporting & Insights
  • Prepare periodic client reports using standard agency reporting templates.
  • Summarise wins, losses, learning insights, and next steps.
  • Extract platform data and ensure accuracy before exporting.
  • Maintain dashboards for internal monitoring.
4. Creative Coordination & IVC Alignment
  • Work with the creative team to brief required assets.
  • Provide clear IVC requirements, audience insights, and performance feedback.
  • Monitor asset delivery and ensure handover to PM team is complete and accurate.
  • Support testing: thumbnails, headlines, CTA variations, hooks.
5. Audience, Keyword & Competitor Research
  • Use platform tools and external research methods to analyse audience behaviour.
  • Conduct competitor ad analysis (Meta Ad Library, Google SERPs, landing pages).
  • Recommend opportunities for targeting, messaging, and funnel improvement.
6. Landing Page & Funnel Quality Checks
  • Perform technical checks on client websites and DLPs (loading speed, CTA clicks, form health).
  • Ensure alignment between ad messaging, landing page content, and offer positioning.
  • Flag issues to relevant internal teams.
7. Internal Workflow & SOP Compliance
  • Follow internal SOPs, campaign QA procedures, and naming conventions.
  • Document processes, tests, wins, and failures in shared PM systems.
  • Support admin tasks such as billing trackers, spend pacing, and card limit checks.
8. Communication & Client Support (Entry-Level)
  • Attend key internal meetings with account managers and sales team as required.
  • Draft meeting notes and ensure action items are recorded.
  • Respond to client queries with guidance from senior PMs.
  • Able to communicate with account managers to maintain smooth relationship internally.
Required Qualifications
  • Diploma in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
  • At least one internship in a digital marketing agency environment.
  • At least 1 year in the digital marketing/performance marketing field executing Paid Ads on Google and Meta (Executive).
  • Strong interest in performance marketing and data analysis.
  • Basic familiarity with Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads (training provided). (Associate)
  • In-depth familiarity with Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, GA4 and Conversion Tracking (Executive).
  • Comfortable with Excel/Sheets, data interpretation, and fast execution cycles.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work with cross‑functional teams.
