Job description:
Job Summary
  • Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, the incumbent is responsible for developing and executing sales strategies for our Endocrinology portfolio, targeting both government hospitals and private medical channels.
  • Responsible for sales revenue and territory deliverables for the Endocrinology product portfolio.
General Responsibilities
  • Account Management
    • Identify and map targeted accounts to drive new sales and market penetration.
    • Establish and maintain good relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
    • Service and maintain existing business through contracts, quotations, tenders, and healthcare professional relationships.
    • Proactively seek new business opportunities and untapped accounts.
    • Track sales and provide accurate forecasts for the territory, including sales figures, penetration rates, and market share.
    • Gain a deep understanding of customer needs, challenges, competition, and market trends.
    • Plan and execute territory sales activities and coordinate CME activities with the Marketing team.
    • Gather and apply market intelligence to develop tangible solutions across sales territories and channels.
Functional Skills and Knowledge
  • Minimum 1-2 years of pharmaceutical sales experience (preferred).
  • Proven sales success in the Specialty Therapeutic or Endocrinology area is a plus.
  • Experience with hospital drug formulary listing, new product account management, and knowledge of healthcare subsidies/reimbursement is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Possession of a valid Class 3 driving license and access to a vehicle is preferred.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a growth orientation.
  • Adaptable and agile in a dynamic environment.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Science, Pharmacy, or Business Management.
