Job Description
  • Assist the Head of Department (HoD) in establishing or renewing agreements such as industrial partnerships, Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs), Student Exchange Programmes (SEPs), attachment/internship arrangements, provision of services to third parties, professional membership for the department, and the subsequent approvals and signings.
  • Assist the HoD in managing and processing donations and investments for the department.
  • Raise quotations, invoices, or purchase orders for general events and activities.
  • Assist the HoD in reviewing procurement documents and tenders and approving them in the relevant systems.
  • Collate and review annual budget calls, which include courses, preventive maintenance and repairs, equipment, domain projects, and events/activities.
  • Collate and track budget expenditure and utilisation for the department’s operating, general purpose, donation, and self‑financing funds.
  • Assist the HoD in preparing and responding to requests related to financial situations or information from other offices.
  • Assist the HoD in reviewing and approving travel requests and claims in CONCUR.
  • Answer inquiries from staff and students concerning finance policies and processes, and provide advice according to their needs.
Qualifications
  • Academic qualification: Bachelor/Master’s in Science, Project Management, Finance, Business, and/or Accounting.
  • Past work experience managing projects involving corporate partnership and its associated finance matters.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Advanced Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication skills in managing stakeholders and team.
  • Able to work independently and proactive.
