Software Lead

Join our team as a Software Lead and help deliver secure, resilient, and high-performing digital solutions that create meaningful impact for the community. In this role, you will lead technical execution, mentor engineers, and ensure that every solution is robust, scalable, and aligned with public sector standards.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead and mentor a team of developers to deliver high-impact digital solutions.
• Architect and design fullstack systems with a strong focus on scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Develop, review, and optimise APIs that meet rigorous security and performance standards.
• Champion secure coding practices and embed DevSecOps principles across the development lifecycle.
• Oversee CI/CD pipelines and ensure quality assurance is integrated into DevSecOps workflows.
• Collaborate closely with business analysts, UI/UX designers, and infrastructure teams.
• Ensure solutions comply with cloud best practices (AWS or Azure) for deployment, monitoring, and operations.
• Deliver systems integrated with government authentication services (e.g., Singpass, Corppass) while meeting public sector compliance requirements.
• Support project planning, technical estimation, and risk management.

What We’re Looking For:

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Minimum 6 years of hands-on development experience including 2–3 years leading software teams or technical projects.
• Strong proficiency in both frontend and backend development.
• Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
• Solid understanding of secure coding practices and experience with DevSecOps toolchains.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Experience delivering government-sector systems, particularly those involving authentication service integrations.
• Familiarity with agile delivery methodologies.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.
