This role is responsible for defining and executing APAC strategic plans to drive market-leading double-digit growth. This encompasses leadership of cross-functional / cross-BU complex strategic project initiatives (including any Enterprise Priorities) that have significant impact on Stryker APAC growth aspirations. This role will need to establish APAC PMO capability to foster a culture of excellence in project delivery across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning to drive market-leading double-digit growth
- Lead and strengthen the annual APAC Strategy Planning exercise with APAC Leadership Team (APLT).
- Develop and oversee the execution of APAC Growth Plan.
- Identify revenue growth opportunities by collaborating with senior leadership stakeholders (APLT, markets leadership, APAC Marketing, APAC Finance).
- Develop business cases with measurable ROI targets for growth initiatives to secure investments.
- Work with senior leadership to determine appropriate growth operating models.
- Partner with APLT to prioritize projects delivering maximum business value.
Enterprise Priorities and Strategic Projects
- Lead enterprise priorities in collaboration with APLT and the Corporate Enterprise Strategy team, including globalization initiatives and capability setups.
- Identify and execute high-impact cross-functional projects that drive revenue, margins, or foundational capabilities, such as cross-BU projects, acquisition integrations, and go-to-market reviews.
Establish regional PMO (Project Management Office) capability
- Define, implement, and evolve the PMO strategy to support growth and complexity.
- Establish governance structures, tools, and methodologies for successful project execution.
- Build and develop a high-performing PMO team aligned with strategic objectives.
- Advance PMO capabilities across APAC markets.
- Collaborate with the Stryker Global PMO Council to drive project management excellence.
Key requirements
Qualification and Experience
- 10+ years in strategy, consulting, business transformation, or corporate development, preferably in MedTech, Life Sciences, or Healthcare sectors.
- Proven leadership of complex regional projects and cross-functional teams delivering measurable outcomes.
- Strong knowledge of APAC Medtech and healthcare industry, including market dynamics and regulations.
- MBA or equivalent degree in Business, Life Science, or Engineering from a top-tier institution.
