Job summary
A leading recruitment firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to oversee the design of civil infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years of experience in civil infrastructure design, a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by the PE Board, and strong knowledge of Singapore design codes. The role involves compliance with safety standards and leading technical proposals. Interested candidates may apply via email.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, recognised by PE Board.
- 10–15 years’ experience in civil infrastructure design.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore design codes and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee civil infrastructure design ensuring compliance.
- Lead development of construction methodologies and proposals.
- Approve design deliverables and technical submissions.

- Oversee civil infrastructure design (rail, road, viaduct) and ensure compliance with regulations, safety standards, and engineering codes.
- Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications for feasibility, risk, and constructability.
- Lead development of construction methodologies, technical proposals, and method statements to enhance competitiveness.
- Provide technical leadership in roadworks, drainage, earthworks, and related civil works.
- Approve design deliverables, shop drawings, and technical submissions with focus on quality, constructability, and value engineering.
- Coordinate with QS, planning, BIM, and procurement teams; engage suppliers/subcontractors for efficient solutions.
- Conduct site visits, feasibility studies, and risk assessments; implement mitigation measures as needed.
- Represent design team in client/consultant meetings and ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, recognised by PE Board.
- Primavera P6 certification preferred.
- 10–15 years’ experience in civil infrastructure design, including tender and project management.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore design codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Experience in large-scale infrastructure projects is a strong advantage.
