Join our award-winning robotics company and be a part of the team that is revolutionizing the commercial cleaning industry. We are seeking a talented Technical Documentation Writer to help us create documentation that showcases the amazing work we do.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and enforce documentation standards, style guides, and best practices to ensure consistency and clarity.
  • Service Manuals:
    • Develop and maintain detailed service manuals for new and existing cleaning robot products.
    • Ensure manuals are tailored for both on-ground technicians and end customers, providing clear instructions for installation, operation, maintenance, and repair.
    • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to gather technical details and validate accuracy.
  • Troubleshooting Documents:
    • Create troubleshooting guides to help technicians and customers diagnose and resolve common issues with cleaning robots.
    • Organize and present troubleshooting steps in a logical and user-friendly manner.
    • Continuously update documents based on feedback and product updates.
  • Software Release Notes:
    • Write and distribute software release notes to inform customers of new features, bug fixes, and improvements.
    • Ensure release notes are clear, concise, and aligned with the software development teams updates.
    • Coordinate with the marketing and customer support teams to ensure timely delivery of release notes.
  • Product Upgrade Documentation:
    • Develop documentation to support product upgrades, including step-by-step instructions for dealers and customers.
    • Work closely with the product management and engineering teams to understand upgrade processes and communicate them effectively.
    • Ensure all upgrade documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaboration and Continuous Improvement:
    • Partner with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, customer support, and marketing, to gather information and ensure documentation meets user needs.
    • Review and update existing documentation to reflect product changes, improvements, and customer feedback.
    • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in technical writing to enhance the quality of documentation.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Technical Writing, Communications, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5 to 8 years of experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in the robotics, consumer electronics, or product manufacturing industries.
  • Proven experience writing service manuals, troubleshooting guides, and software documentation.
  • Familiarity with robots or commercial cleaning products is a plus.
  • Professional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand complex product functionalities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
