Job description

Our client is seeking the Account Director to lead and manage key client relationships, drive account growth, and oversee the successful delivery of integrated marketing and communication strategies.

Responsibilities
  • Account Growth & Development: Drive the growth and success of both new and existing client accounts.
  • Collaboration: Work with the Business Development team to meet account growth and profitability objectives.
  • Opportunity Identification: Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within current client portfolios.
  • Delivery: Manage client expectations proactively and ensure consistent delivery of high-quality work.
  • Proposal & Pitching: Contribute to new business strategies by preparing proposals and presentations, and actively participating in pitch meetings.
  • Relationship Building: Build strong relationships and strategic partnerships with key clients and stakeholders to enhance the agency's presence and influence.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, manage, and grow a team of Account Managers and Digital Specialists by overseeing their daily operations.
  • People & Culture: Inspire and motivate the team by clearly communicating the agency's vision and values.
  • Collaboration & Issue Resolution: Resolve operational or interdepartmental issues through collaboration and leadership.
  • Campaign Ownership: Take ownership of clients' campaign strategies across marketing and advertising channels.
  • Client Contact: Act as the senior point of contact for clients, maintaining strong day-to-day relationships.
  • Project Management: Handle multiple projects simultaneously and ensure timely delivery under tight deadlines.
Requirements
  • At least 6 - 8 years of relevant experience in account management, preferably within an agency environment (digital/advertising/marketing).
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor a team, with strong people management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage senior-level client relationships.
  • Ability to develop and implement growth strategies for clients and the agency.
  • Excellent multitasking and organizational abilities, with experience in managing complex campaigns or accounts.
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing, branding, campaign development, and performance metrics.
  • Comfortable presenting proposals and strategies to both internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Capable of working under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
