Job summary
A leading aviation services provider in Singapore is seeking a Facility Manager to oversee the mechanical and electrical infrastructure. Responsibilities include managing contracts, ensuring energy optimization, and coordinating maintenance schedules. The ideal candidate holds a relevant degree, has at least 7 years of experience, and possesses strong interpersonal skills. This role offers a dynamic work environment focused on aviation and safety.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience within an Aviation Services facility.
- Experience in aircraft or automotive painting.
- Ability to read, interpret drawings for paint.
Responsibilities
- Manage building infrastructure to meet operational needs.
- Ensure energy utilization is optimized.
- Develop energy strategy meeting legislative demands.
- Oversee facility contracts and service agreements.
- Cooperate with internal teams for upgrades and renovations.

Location : North East Region
Working hours : Monday to Friday , 8 : 00am - 5 : 00pm
Responsibility :
- Manage the building, mechanical and electrical infrastructure to meet operational, safety and legal requirements;
- Ensure provision and analysis of energy monitoring data and action plans to ensure utilization of energy sources optimized;
- Develop and maintain energy strategy that meets evolving legislative, environmental and cost demands;
- Manage Chiller system for paint mode and Air Handling Units (AHU);
- Oversee facility-related contracts and service agreements, covering hard (mechanical, electrical, buildings) and soft (cleaning, waste management) services;
- Coordinate and communicate facilities, grounds, and equipment maintenance and repair schedule to senior management;
- Develop and manage the facility management budget ensuring optimal allocation of resources. Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining operational standards;
- Respond to facility emergencies promptly, coordinating necessary actions to resolve issues;
- Collaborate with internal teams to support upgrades, renovations, and expansions.
- Ensure all interior and exterior paint work performed on aircraft and fixtures meet regulations and quality of work meets customer expectations.
- Determine needs and obtain required tooling and equipment for paint shops.
- Provides technical guidance on complex issues.
- Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields. Certifications such as Certified Facility Manager (CFM), Facilities Management Professional (FMP), or equivalent is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience within an Aviation Services facility.
- Experience in aircraft or automotive painting.
- Ability to read, interpret drawings paint.
- Interpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, other business areas and governmental agencies.
