Job summary

A construction project management firm in Singapore is seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee building projects from planning through to delivery. The ideal candidate will have expertise in project management, strong stakeholder management skills, and a solid understanding of construction regulations. With at least 5 years of experience, you will lead the project team to ensure timely and efficient project execution while maintaining quality standards.

Qualifications

• At least 5–10 years of Project Management experience.
• Strong understanding of building projects and construction processes.
• Proficient in project planning tools is an advantage.

About the Role

The successful candidate will manage the full project cycle, ensuring timely delivery, cost efficiency, compliance, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end execution of building projects, including planning, coordination, and delivery.
• Oversee project schedules, cost control, procurement, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, authorities, and internal project teams.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Review and manage technical submissions, method statements, permits, and project documentation.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation plans to resolve site and project issues promptly.
• Prepare progress reports and chair internal/externals meetings.
• Lead and mentor the site team to meet project milestones.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• At least 5–10 years of Project Management experience with an A1 Main Contractor.
• Strong understanding of building projects, local authority regulations, and construction processes.
• Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive project progress under tight timelines.
• Proficient in project planning tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) is an advantage.
