Responsibilities

• Develop preferred suppliers for cost, capacity, quality and response to RFQ.
• Drive cost reduction for commodities through supply base consolidation.
• Create and drive contracts with key suppliers.
• Reduce materials lead-time to meet Customer expectations.
• Highlight potential supply chain challenges in a timely manner.
• Provide technical support/advice to buyers and suppliers.

Requirements

• Min Dip holder (technical area)
• Problem solving skills
• Experience in negotiating with suppliers, sourcing new suppliers
• Experience in commodity strategy and management for maching and sheet metal
• Experience in New Product Introduction
• Quote analysis

Responsibilities

• Develop preferred suppliers for cost, capacity, quality and response to RFQ
• Drive cost reduction for respective commodities through supply base consolidation and negotiation
• Create and drive contract with key suppliers
• Drive materials lead-time reduction to meet with Customers’ expectations
• Supplier ramp up plan and highlight any potential supply chain challenges in a timely manner
• Coordinate and communicate new project Engineering Change Order implementation effectively to avoid/minimize any E&O exposure
• Provide technical support/advice to buyers, suppliers as well as customers
• Follow up on new vendor set-up and supply price is set-up LN systems before order placement by buyers
• Cost, lead-time, MOQ & NRE analysis on suppliers’ quotation. Make supplier recommendation to quote team
• End-of-Life management
• New Supplier survey & audit
• Source and recommend suppliers for business need
