Job description

We are looking for an experienced Construction Manager (Architectural & Façade) who excels in leading site teams, managing complex façade installations, and ensuring top-quality project delivery. Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and supervise day-to-day site operations for architectural and façade works.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors for smooth execution.
  • Oversee installation of façade, cladding, glazing, and architectural finishes.
  • Ensure manpower, materials, and equipment are available according to schedule.
  • Monitor progress, highlight delays, and implement corrective measures.
  • Enforce quality and workmanship standards across all activities.
  • Review shop drawings, technical submissions, and installation methodologies.
  • Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with design, regulatory, and client requirements.
  • Lead mock-up reviews, sample approvals, and material testing.
  • Maintain site documentation (inspection reports, NCRs, QA/QC records).
  • Ensure strict adherence to WSH regulations and environmental standards.
  • Conduct safety briefings and toolbox meetings.
  • Report and investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure all method statements and risk assessments are followed on site.
  • Lead and manage subcontractors to meet schedule, quality, and cost objectives.
  • Review progress claims, variation works, and contractor performance.
  • Work with procurement to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
  • Optimize site resources to enhance productivity and reduce wastage.
  • Work closely with the Project Manager, design consultants, and stakeholders.
  • Conduct coordination meetings and provide progress updates.
  • Ensure clear communication between site teams, drafting teams, and fabrication workshops.
  • Support testing, commissioning, and final handover.
  • Mentor and guide site supervisors, foremen, and workers.
  • Promote a culture of safety, quality, and accountability.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency.
Requirements
  • Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Building & Construction, or relevant fields.
  • 8–10 years site management experience, including minimum 5 years in architectural or façade works.
  • Experience managing large teams and subcontractors on complex projects.
  • Safety for Project Managers Course (SPM) or equivalent certification.
  • Strong technical knowledge of façade systems and installation techniques.
  • Excellent coordination and communication skills.
  • Independent, proactive, and able to work with minimal supervision.
Working Conditions
  • Standard 5.5-day work week.
  • HQ Location Tuas View.
  • Weekend work may be required depending on project progress.
  • Regular on-site presence is necessary to supervise ongoing works.
