Automotive Maintenance Technician I/II
Job summary
A leading airport services company in Singapore is seeking a Maintenance Technician I/II to ensure high equipment availability and reliability. Responsibilities include carrying out inspection and repair of vehicles and equipment, inputting parts requests, and leading by example. Candidates should have a minimum NITEC in a relevant field and possess a Class 3 driving license. This role requires working on rotating shifts and a strong commitment to safety practices.
Qualifications
- Minimum NITEC / Higher NITEC in Motor Vehicle / Mechatronic or Diesel Mechanic.
- Preferably with relevant working experience.
- Must possess minimum LTA Class 3 driving license and above.
- Willing and able to work rotating shifts.
Responsibilities
- Carry out servicing, inspection, repair & maintenance of vehicle & equipment.
- Learn operational checks and tasks on various equipment.
- Input required spares/parts into Workshop Parts Request online form.
- Ensure spare replacement is authorized.
- Demonstrate good work practices to junior technicians.
- Follow safety policies and procedures.
Skills
Education
The Maintenance Technician I/II is responsible for repairing and maintaining work at Technical Services to ensure high equipment availability and reliability with safety and optimum cost.
- Carry out servicing, inspection, repair & maintenance of vehicle & equipment
- Carry out tasks as assigned by Supervisor
- Learn all type of operational check and tasking on all type of equipment for PM
- Input spares/parts required into Workshop Parts Request online form
- Ensure spare replacement is authorized
- Lead by example and demonstrate good work practices to junior technicians
- Follow safety policies, practices, administration etc. Compliance & enforcement
- Key in detailed completed task into SAP in an orderly and timely manner
- Minimum NITEC / Higher NITEC in Motor Vehicle / Mechatronic or Diesel Mechanic
- Preferably with relevant working experience and knowledge in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic & Pneumatic
- Must possess minimum LTA Class 3 driving license and above
- Willing and able to work rotating shifts
