About the job
Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Singapore within the Sales & Marketing Department, E-Commerce Assistant/Digital Marketing Manager assist to elevate the hotel’s online presence and lead performance-driven digital marketing initiatives. The role reports the Director of Marketing and Communications to develop and execute digital marketing strategies to enhance the brand visibility online, and OTAs (online travel agents) to drive revenue.
The E-commerce Digital Marketing Manager manages all online content including the hotel’s website, online shop, digital ads as well as OTAs platforms. An important objective for this role is to drive direct bookings on the hotel website, OTAs and the online shop. The candidate needs to constantly monitor online trends and particularly competitors’ online activities and make recommendations to hotel management.
As E-Commerce Assistant/Digital Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the following duties:
Digital Marketing:
· Proactively plan creative, compelling, and targeted digital communications activity and campaigns.
· Manage the creation and implementation of engaging content on the hotel’s website and, email campaigns and digital advertising.
· Develop and execute performance-based digital marketing campaigns, including paid search (SEM), paid social, programmatic display, retargeting, and affiliate marketing. Monitor campaign KPIs closely to optimize for cost efficiency and ROI.
· Monitor and analyse the performance of OTAs platform to improve the ranking and review ratings to optimise the performance.
· Plan and execute monthly EDM to drive traffic to the digital channels.
· Manage and grow the hotel’s online shop, developing creative promotions and ensuring smooth customer journeys from traffic acquisition to checkout and performance tracking.
· Oversee photo and video shoot to develop creative assets to be implemented on digital channels.
· Regularly analyse website, campaign, and channel performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, and OTA dashboards. Generate insights and actionable recommendations to improve performance.
Administration:
· Prepare monthly marketing reports related to digital marketing initiatives.
· Regular update on weekly marketing status report.
· Provide digital marketing services support for hotel’s key departments.
As an E-Commerce Assistant/Digital Marketing Manager, we expect from you:
· Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in digital marketing role, preferably in travel, hospitality or e-commerce industry .
· Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms such as Google Analytics Adobe Analytics and social media management tools.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills, fluency in Chinese is preferred.
· Knowledgeable on OTAs platforms and Chinese social media channels is preferred.
· Ability to multitask, prioritise and meet tight deadlines in an agile environment.
